Enjoying superb views over lovely sandy Crantock beach just a few minutes' walk away (700 yards), Trethcoombe stands close to the coastal footpath, with its own substantial lawned garden, and offers comfortable, spacious accommodation for large parties. One of a pair set back from the road, it has an indoor games room with pool table, furnished bar area with dart board, and is just 4 miles from Newquay, Cornwall's largest holiday resort. Newquay boasts a stunning variety of attractions, ranging from a Sea Life Centre, zoo. pitch and putt, crazy golf, boating lake, railway and a sports complex to its excellent shops, restaurants, inns and renowned nightlife. Wonderful beaches combine with Atlantic rollers to provide great surfing on the famous Fistral Beach, with lifeguards, surfing lessons and popular, often-televised surf competitions. Crantock, with village shops and pubs, offer quieter pursuits for those wishing to get away from it all. The nearby Gannel estuary provides the perfect place to explore sandy inlets full of pools with interesting sea creatures. Ideal for touring the North Cornwall coast. The nearby fishing port of Padstow is easily accessible and is almost as popular as Newquay, but has a much more sedate feel to it. The harbour is packed with boats offering cruises in Padstow Bay, whilst a regular ferry sails to Rock and the excellent beaches at Polzeath.
