A small supermarket and traditional public house are just a few yards away.Aldeburgh’s high street offers an interesting mix of shops, high quality restaurants, art galleries, an independent cinema and even an award-winning fish and chip shop! There is plenty to do for all ages; tennis, golf, sea and river sailing or a gentle walk along the glorious pebble beach. Picturesquely set on the East Suffolk Heritage coastline, Aldeburgh is best known for its connections with the composer Benjamin Britten. The acclaimed Arts and Music Festival is staged yearly at the nearby Snape Maltings Concert Hall attracting many famous names and visitors.
