Situated between the villages of Burnsall and Appletreewick, this idyllic country hideaway - wonderfully positioned and almost hidden in a woodland dell - has been created from a 15th-century water mill . Set in a uniquely picturesque and peaceful location, with spectacular panoramic views of moorland, forest and fell, this historic property has been converted to the highest of standards into three separate, extremely comfortable and cosy, self-contained holiday apartments. Family owned and managed, the Mill boasts a mill pond and waterfall (children take care!) and is placed amidst some of the finest, unspoilt countryside in England, providing a year-round paradise for ramblers, amblers and nature lovers. Centrally located within the National Park, with golf at Skipton and Ilkley, riding at Kilnsey, superb trout fishing on the nearby River Wharfe, reservoir sailing, mountain biking and climbing. Skipton, Grassington, Hawes and Richmond are all interesting places, as are the delightful stone-built Dales villages - full of character, with many good pubs and excellent eating houses. Bolton Priory 4 miles. Stump Cross Caverns, Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal, Brimham Rocks, Haworth (with Bronte Museum), Saltaire (with Salts Mill), Harrogate and York, are all within an easy drive. Pubs and restaurants, ½ mile.
