For the golfer there is the world class golf course at Brancaster and clifftop golf course at Hunstanton. The Royal Sandringham Estate is two miles. The house museum and gardens are open to the public when the Royal family is not in residence. The country park is lovely for nature walks and is accessible at all times. The traditional coastal resorts of Hunstanton (7 miles) and Heacham (5 miles) offer an array of activities for all ages. Hunstanton offers Sea Life Centre, fun fair, the Oasis Leisure Centre and all manner of watersports (summer season). Within an easy drive is bustling Burnham Market (12 miles) and the sailing village of Brancaster Staithe (10 miles), where boat trips may be taken to the RSPB and nature reserve sanctuary of Scolt Head Island. Further along the coast at Blakeney Point, boat trips are available to observe the basking seal colonies. Wells-next-the-Sea has a working fishing harbour, is famous for its fresh seafood and its excellent sandy beach.
