On the edge of the Peak District National Park, this comfortable 17th-century property is surrounded by rugged and spectacular scenery. Converted to a high standard from a former inn (right of pair in centre of photograph), it has its own terrace and enjoys shared use of the neighbouring owners' garden and 1-acre grounds. The surrounding countryside is magnificent for walking and mountain-biking, with horse riding available 2 miles away at Flash (England's highest village). Town and sports amenities at Buxton (6 miles).
