In a unique setting on the banks of Budle Bay, Mill Cottage takes full advantage of the views over the bay out towards the sea and Lindisfarne Castle. Furnished and equipped to a high standard it offers a wonderful base to explore the delights of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. There are many designated cycle routes nearby as well as several excellent golf courses. The spectacular coastline at Budle Bay (AONB) is a haven for sea birds, and the Farne Islands, which can be explored by boat, are a sanctuary for puffins, kittywakes and grey seals. The village of Bamburgh with its miles of unspoilt sandy beaches is close by, as are Craster, Alnwick, Lindisfarne and Berwick upon Tweed.
