This charming detached former stables, dating back to the 1700s has been converted to a high standard retaining many of the original beams. Situated on the owner's working farm with its own pretty garden, it enjoys superb views over the surrounding countryside including the beautiful valley to Ogston Reservoir. Shire cottage provides the ideal touring base, with Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, Matlock, Bakewell, Carsington Water and Crich Tramway village all close by. There are excellent walks from the door whilst the trails of Dovedale and Manifold Valley are well worth exploring.
