With exceptional views over the extensive countryside, River Yar and estuary beyond from its large decked garden, this refurbished home is peacefully located at the end of a residential road on the edge of a nature reserve. It offers direct access onto a network of walking and cycling routes which extend over the Tennyson Down all the way to the amazing rock formations of The Needles and the mesmerising coloured sands at Alum Bay. Ideally positioned, Eastholme is only 5 minutes walk from the historic sailing town of Yarmouth, which is the terminus for the Lymington car/passenger ferry. The picturesque fishing and yachting port still retains its olde worlde charm, with cobbled lanes, inns, restaurants, shops, church, promenade and pier. Take fishing trips from the quay, or visit the model railway, marina, aquarium, planetarium or undersea history exhibition, providing plenty of interest for all family members. This temperate island has a host of attractions all year round, including picturesque thatched villages, wildlife reserves, donkey sanctuary, museums, castle, NT homes and gardens, flamingo park, pearl factory, glass blowing, pottery and a host of watersports - to name but a few. Colwell Bay is about 2 miles away, ideal for bathing and with a beach cafe. Shops and pubs 1/4 mile.
