Tucked away in a quiet wooded valley of outstanding natural beauty, these four skilfully and sympathetically converted stone barns sit in a courtyard setting amid lawns, a large lake and two streams, and are tucked away down a winding lane. These charming holiday cottages are situated in the heart of the rolling Devon countryside.
Set in idyllic and tranquil surroundings, country and woodland walks are available in the 30 acres of gardens. The large lake and 2 streams make the area a hive of activity for the local bird and wildlife. Within easy reach of the coast, Bigbury on Sea is 8 miles and Dartington Craft Museum is nearby. Close to National Trust properties and the Eden Project is only an hour's drive away.
A good base to explore the renowned South Hams area, while Totnes is 7 miles, with its Elizabethan market, and Dartmoor 4 miles, with its superb walking and riding. There are ten golf courses within an hour's drive, along with many other interesting places to visit. W1400 can be booked with W1497.
