These character stone barn conversions, with original 'dovecotes' built into the walls, are set around a courtyard on a family run working farm. Each property is tastefully furnished, retaining much original character, including oak floors throughout combined with modern living, contemporary decor and Laura Ashley bedrooms, each having its own garden with barbecue and garden furniture.Venn Farm is a working farm which has been run by the same family since the 1800s. These delightful, cosy cottages have been converted from the original stone barns which were used for hundreds of years on the farm as the grain store/milling barn and cider apple store.Conveniently situated on the A379, Brixton offers easy access to Plymouth, with its busy shopping centre and historic Barbican. Wembury Beach, AONB, just 3 miles. Twin villages of Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo, just 10 minutes drive. Sandy beach at Mothecombe, just 20 minutes drive. Bigbury on Sea and Kingsbridge, 1/2 hour. This is a delightful area of the South Hams and makes an excellent base for exploring South Devon. Brixton village has PO, pub, restaurant and village shop 50 yards.
