These two cosy cottages enjoy a wonderful location on the Dingle Peninsula, just 0.75 miles from the glorious Blue Flag beach of Inch with its miles of golden sands, blue waters and softly tinted mountains. Each cottage affords sea views from one of the bedrooms and also from the attractive living room/diner which has an open fire and exposed wooden beams. Five miles from the cottages is the pretty little village of Annascual, the birthplace Tom Crean, a companion of Scott¹s in his intrepid Antarctic explorations - enjoy a pint in the ’South Pole’ bar! There are some wonderful hiking routes in the area and there are organized walking routes in Annscaul. The properties make a great base for discovering the magnificent Dingle Peninsula with its wonderful selection of beaches, coves, lakes and islands. Ireland offers wonderful opportunities for hill waking, mountaineering, cycling, surfing and horse riding. There are many fine golf courses in this area and for the fishing enthusiast there are plenty of fresh and sea water angling opportunities. Dingle town offers a wonderful selection of great restaurants, quaint pubs and varied craft shops. There are boat trips to visit Fungi, the Dingle dolphin and also boat trips to visit the beautiful Blasket Islands. This area abounds with archaeological and historical sites; discover some of the many castles, standing stones, stone towers and ancient churches. Some day trips could include Killarney National Park where you might just see wild deer roaming through the park with its lakes and waterfalls, or the stunning Ring of Kerry route which offers truly breathtaking panoramic scenery. Visit Tralee with lots of activities for the younger guests, with swimming at the aqua dome and a steam train which runs between Tralee and the windmill at Blennerville.
