Wagland Farm, with its old farmhouse and converted barns, nestles peacefully in a beautiful and secluded valley amidst its own 80-acres of meadows, woodland, lakes and streams with far-reaching views across Dartmoor and the coast. Adjoining one another, The Hayloft and Old Stables have been converted to a very high standard and are ideally situated in the heart of the South Hams, within a few miles of Totnes, Dartmouth, Knightsbridge and Salcombe. Surrounded by fascinating and historic towns dating back to medieval times, and with the sandy beaches of the south coast just a short drive away, they are also close to the vast expanse of Dartmoor, one of England's last great wildernesses. Wagland has much to offer with woodland walks and bird-watching throughout the valley. Coarse fishing is available free to guests in the mature 1½-acre spring fed lake stocked with tench, perch, roach and carp up to 32lbs. There is plenty for the children to do with ponies and goats to feed and hens and chicks wandering freely around the farmyard. Several outstanding golf courses lie within easy reach and there are numerous attractions and places of interest as well as leisure parks for the children. Plymouth, with its world famous aquarium, is only 30minutes away, whilst The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are also within easy reach. The villages of Harbertonford, Halwell and Moreleigh are all within 2miles and have excellent pubs, restaurants and village shop.
