This lovely cottage is converted to a very good standard from a former barn, and makes a delightful country retreat on a small working farm. With own lake, 300 yards, a perfect setting for quiet picnics and relaxing after a long day exploring the area. Just a short drive from North Cornwall Coast, with Bude being the nearest main attraction, offering family attractions and sandy beaches, popular with surfers and beach lovers. The dramatic Cornish coastline has much to offer, and keen walkers and birdwatchers will find the area stunning, with miles of coastline to enjoy. Just 2 1/2 miles from Holsworthy, a bustling and charming market town, offering a good selection of local shops and pubs and weekly pannier markets selling home grown produce. Situated within easy reach of North Devon, for more dramatic coastline and excellent sandy beaches. Both Tamar and Roadford Lakes are nearby for an abundance of watersport activities, or for a more relaxed stroll around the lakes and picnics. Many delightful country walks can be taken from the door and Dartmoor National Park is within a short drive for the more energetic ramble. Golf, fishing and horse riding can all be found locally, and there is free carp fishing available all year by arrangement with the owner (bring own tackle). Shops 2 1/2 miles, pub 3/4 miles.
