Enjoying lovely rural views from its bedroom windows, this comfortable house with its own attractive garden is set just off the square in the pretty village of Wensley. One of a pair, it is well placed for walking (good footpaths lead from the village) and just 1½ miles away is the conservation village of Winster with its famous Market Hall (NT). Nearby Matlock boasts a steam railway, while at Matlock Bath a cable car spans the gorge to the Heights of Abraham's show caverns. Buxton, Bakewell, Carsington Water, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall all make for good days out. Pub 1½miles.
