Beach 2 miles/Close to village centre and quayside
This 1770's character fisherman's cottage is tucked away in the heart of Appledore, minutes from the North Devon Maritime Museum and the quayside with its wonderful views over the Torridge estuary towards Instow.
The three storey terraced cottage is set in one of Appledore's historic lanes and is an excellent location to sample North Devon, wander down one of the many lanes, take a ferry trip to Instow with its sandy beach, enjoy Westward Ho! with its golden beach for swimming and surfing. A leisure pool can be found in nearby Northam.
There are sailings to Lundy Island (NT) from Bideford or Ilfracombe according to tides, or why not visit the Big Sheep, Milky Way and Arlington Court. These are a few of the many attractions on offer.
