Situated on the outskirts of Butterknowle, a small village in the unspoilt Gaunless Valley between Barnard Castle and Hamsterley Forest, this spacious semi-detached holiday home makes an ideal base for walkers to explore with pretty valleys and meandering rivers.

The house benefits from a sun filled conservatory overlooking the garden with lovely views, and a huge water bed in the master bedroom. Raby Castle is nearby, as is the dramatic scenery of the Weardale and Teeside Valleys.

In contrast, historic Durham is half an hour away.

Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Ground floor: Lounge/diner, kitchen, conservatory. First floor: Bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, separate shower, toilet and basin, 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 with en-suite shower, toilet and basin, 1 single. Second floor: 1 double bedroom.

Oil central heating, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, patio, courtyard, outdoor furniture, barbecue, ample off road parking. Pets welcome. No smoking please. NB: There is a small pond in the garden, children require supervision.
