Oaktree cottages are surrounded by beautiful, unspoilt countryside rich in wildlife with far reaching views of Exmoor National Park. The cottages provide guests with clean, comfortable, modern-style accommodation. Each one is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, giving guests a perfect base to return to after exploring the surrounding Exmoor countryside. All are on one level, making them suitable for those with limited mobility. Take a walk around Oaktree lakes during the early morning/late evening and enjoy the abundance of wildlife on your door step. Gracious, soaring Buzzards, Owls, Kestrels and the wonderful red deer are regular visitors to the lakes. You may even see the resident Kingfishers flying around, or listen to the Cuckoos and Woodpeckers going to work for a change. Nearby Exmoor National Park is ideal for walkers, cyclists or horse riders. Its varied landscape of secret wooded valleys and wild, unspoilt moors together with a wealth of wildlife, means there is always something special to discover. Oaktree lakes provide the ultimate fishing experience for the serious fisherman, or the absolute beginner who can expect to catch some good quality fish at their first attempt. Fishing is available all year round on a daily or weekly ticket. Tackle hire and baits are available on site.
