Originally built as the coach house of Ford Hall and dating back to the 1700's, this well proportioned semi detached converted barn is one of a pair on the owner's working dairy farm close to the river in the peaceful hamlet of Ford.

Just 7 miles from Ashbourne, and 15 minutes drive from Alton Towers, this cottage makes an ideal touring base for the many attractions in the Peak District, including Dovedale, Ilam, Hartington Hall and Blackbrook RSPB reserve at Coombes.

Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.

Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin both plus folding beds.

Oil central heating, all fuel included in rent May to September, £10 supplement October to April, electricity by meter reading at end of stay, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, highchair, colour TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, washing machine, microwave, shared lawned garden, garden furniture, off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no pets. No smoking please. NB. There is a river 50 yards from the property. Young children may require supervision.
