An exceptionally well presented cottage peacefully situated only yards from the River Coquet. The village is almost completely encircled by the river, which provides lovely riverside scenery, and standing on a hill, dominating the village are the dramatic ruins of medieval Warkworth Castle, once the stronghold of the Percies. Amble, 1 mile, offers water sports, fishing trips and excursions to Coquet Island, and RSPB sanctuary 1 mile offshore. Alnwick with its famous gardens and castle is 6 miles. Many specialist shops, antiques, superb eating places, pubs and galleries available in the village. Shops and pubs 400 yards.
