Walks from the door

Set within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and tucked away in a quiet courtyard, this 18th century cottage makes an ideal home from which to walk direct from the door, or tour the whole of the Dales. The River Wharf, which runs close by, makes an excellent venue for picnics, alternatively Hawes, which is 12 miles, is a traditional market town and offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. In the opposite direction is the bustling, historic market town of Skipton, 18 miles, with its castle and wide High Street, golf course, swimming pool and trips on the canal. Kettlewell, renowned for the Calendar Girls, is just a short drive. Shops 100 yards, pub 60 yards.
