This 19th century detached converted chapel lies just 6 miles from Great Torrington. Some of the original features of the chapel are still very much in evidence including the altar and upstairs seating gallery which still overlooks the main body of the chapel but now acts as the charming main bedroom. The large arch windows lead the eye to the stunning views of the Devonshire countryside. This unusual, historic, charming and atmospheric property is a real Devon treasure.
It is ideally situated to explore the north Devon countryside and the surfing beaches at Westward Ho! and the famous beaches at Bude are just 13 miles away. You can visit the pretty quayside town of Bideford and take one of the daily boat trips to Lundy Island.
The Big Sheep and the Milky Way are a short drive away. Torrington, which is just 6 miles is home to the famous Dartington Crystal Factory and Rosemoor RHS gardens and the Tarka Trail cycle and footpath are all within easy reach.
