This detached, thatched cottage situated down a quiet lane leading to a 12th century church, retains original features. The ancient city of Exeter, 11 miles, boasts a magnificent cathedral. Sandy beaches, the resorts of Sidmouth and Exmouth, NT properties, including Killerton Gardens, within easy reach. Honiton, of lace fame, 6 miles. Good walking and touring can be found on Dartmoor; locally there are Crealy Adventure Park, Escot Aquaculture and Quad World. There is shared use of the games wing at Harris Farm, 50 yards away, down a quiet country lane. The farm has an indoor heated swimming pool (7m x 3.5m, depth 1m, open from Easter to New Year inclusive), an adjoining changing room, a shower, toilet and basin, use of a sauna (reasonable charge), and two well equipped games rooms (open all year), with pool table, table tennis, tumble tower and a Wendy House. Children are welcome to help feed the calves and watch milking at Harris Farm. Shop, PO and inn 50 yards, greater choice in Ottery St Mary, 4 miles.
