It is conveniently located in the attractive village of St Lawrence, near Ventnor, almost opposite the local shop/post office and only 1.5 miles from the nearest pub, in either Niton, Whitwell or Ventnor.
The nearest beach is about 10 minutes walk, or explore various other bays and coves, including Steephill Cove. Ventnor is a popular Victorian town, with beach, shops and restaurants, and slightly further is the picturesque thatch roof-top village of Old Shanklin.
Various attractions include Botanic Gardens, glass blowing, NT homes, museums, wildlife centres, amusements, a zoo, castle, pearl factory, The Needles, Osbourne House, Cowes/Yarmouth harbours. Outdoor pursuits include excellent scenic walking, cycling, riding, sailing, fishing and golf.
