These three charming stone holiday cottages enjoy a lovely rural setting, 3 miles from the ancient market town of Tavistock. Full of character, with exposed stone walls, inglenook fireplaces and log fires, they offer large accommodation, which is ideal for families wishing to holiday together, party bookings of up to 21 people are welcome. There is plenty of space for the children to play; whilst adults can relax and enjoy a barbecue in the shared garden and acre of grounds, which overlooks the ornamental pond. Just a mile away is Morwellham Quay. This restored 19th-century port has a copper mine, where you can visit and be dressed up in period costume. Explore beautiful Dartmoor, 3 miles, and feel invigorated by the fresh Devon air while wandering amidst wonderful moorlands, wooded valleys and pretty villages. Locally you can fish, ride or play golf on four good courses, or enjoy the indoor leisure centre at Tavistock. Plymouth, 12 miles, has excellent shops, theatre, sailing, a dry ski slope and much more. Sandy beaches, 20 miles. Pub 1 mile.
