These superbly converted, detached barns, located on a quiet working farm, have far-reaching views across the Axe Valley towards Seaton. W40643 is spacious and makes a marvellous holiday home especially for two families. W7480 is a Grade II listed converted barn with fully fitted kitchen and is marvellous for two to three families, with en-suite facilities in four of the bedrooms. Sit out on the private patio with its water fountain and revel in the beautiful scenery or watch the farm animals including `Nobby' and `Norma' the farm ostriches.
A children's play area is available with nature walks and picnic sites. Seaton with its mile long beach is 2 miles away with the famous Seaton and District Electric Tramway, golf, fishing, and superb cliff walks. The seaside resort of Lyme Regis, with its Cobb, offers good sailing and water-skiing. Other popular coastal resorts include Sidmouth, Beer and Exmouth. Visit the Donkey Sanctuary, Broadwindsor Craft Centre, Crealy Adventure Playground at Exeter or Bicton Park Gardens at Budleigh.
The rich and rolling farmlands nearby are dotted with ancient market towns and mellow stone villages. The Blackdown Hills where gorse-clad hilltops descend through to secluded wooded valleys. Walkers will delight in reaching the Duke of Wellington's monument.
