The Little Sanctuary is situated in an elevated position overlooking the pretty and peaceful rural village of Berrynarbor just on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Adjacent to the owners home the property has its own private garden and small decked terrace. Finished to a very good standard it is modern throughout and very well equipped offering the perfect base for family holidays. Berrynarbor itself is a delightful village, with enchanting thatched cottages and its own quaint village inn and tea rooms, church, post office and shop, and all just half a mile from the coast and the 'Gateway' to the National Park. With much to see and do, the area has plenty to offer all ages. Exmoor National Park has many footpaths for keen walkers to explore the dramatic scenery and the locally famous 'Golden Coast' beaches are all easily reached by car, for miles of sandy coastline, popular with keen surfers and beach lovers. Nearer to Berrynarbor, the pretty rocky coves and beaches of Ilfracombe, Lee Bay, Watermouth and Combe Martin can be found just a short distance from the property. The famous Victorian seaside town of Ilfracombe is approx. 3 miles offering, shops, theatre, restaurants, pubs, daily boat trips and family attractions. Children will love the local Dinosaur Park, Exmoor Zoo and Watermouth Castle attractions plus horse riding, fishing, sailing and golf all available locally. Shop and pub 500 yards.
